A party of five from Quanzhou College of Technology, including Executive Director Dr. Wang Shu-Sheng, Vice-President Dr. Mao Zheng-Ji and Party Committee Vice-Secretary Mr. Huang Jian-Jia visited City University of Macau from March 26^th to 28^th, 2012. They were warmly welcomed by City University’s Rector Yan Ze-Xian and others. The two parties had a friendly meeting, and signed the Letter of Intent on inter-school collaboration.

Administrative Division Director Mr. Chan Chon Pat accompanied the Quanzhou party, led by Executive Director Dr. Wang Shu-Sheng, to visit City U’s Golden Dragon campus. Assistant Rector and Registrar Professor Xing Wen-Xiang introduced the history and origin of City U of Macau, as well as the University’s advantages on having a relatively longer history, larger scope, and higher level on education. Professor Xing also indicated City U’s direction towards comprehensive expansion.

In return, Dr. Wang stated the purpose of this visit was in hope that both schools could benefit from each other’s strengths, allowing their vocationally skilled students to further study in City U of Macau, helping the students’ advancements on both educational background and character building. Soon the two parties reached an agreement; the Letter of Intent on inter-school collaboration was signed by Rector Yan Ze-Xian, in hope that the two schools would further increase the collaborations and exchanges in the future, achieving a win-win result.

Other participants of this meeting also included: Quanzhou College of Technology’s Faculty of Creative Design Vice-Director Wang Zheng-Jun, accompanying journalist Xu Xiao-Bin, City University of Macau’s Head of Academic Office Hong Guang-Hua, International Open Institute Director’s Assistant Xu Yan-Ping, Admissions Office Supervisor Guo Zhen-Yu, Rector’s Office Secretary Li Shi-Yun, among others.

The party from Quanzhou College of Technology, led by Executive Director Dr. Wang Shu-Sheng, also attended the opening ceremony for Distinguished Lecture Series of City University of Macau hosted by the University on the afternoon of the 27^th.
