A delegation led by Assistant Professor Dr. Wattana Rattanaphom, president of Suratthani Rajabhat University (SRU) in Thailand, visited the City University of Macau (CityU) yesterday, where they received a warm welcome from Vice Rector Han Wei. The delegation toured the campus and teaching facilities, engaging in in-depth discussions on topics such as talent cultivation, research collaboration, and student exchange programs. During the meeting, both parties signed a memorandum of understanding and a student exchange agreement, laying the foundation for further collaboration.
Vice Rector Han Wei extended a warm welcome to the delegation and provided an overview of the unique features and achievements of CityU, covering aspects such as its historical development, discipline construction, faculty team, international exchanges, and industry-academic research development.
President Wattana Rattanaphom highly praised CityU’s educational model and expressed eagerness to explore collaboration opportunities in the fields of international tourism, education, and health. Both parties also engaged in in-depth discussions about the prospects for cooperation in talent cultivation and faculty exchanges.
Other members attended the meeting included Dr. Somprat Wuttichan, vice president of SRU; Dr. Wirun Phichaiwongphakdee, deputy dean of the International School of Tourism and director (Asia-Pacific) of the international exchange department; Wu Cheng, head of Office of Global Affairs; and Wu Yao Fen, acting director of the International Training and Testing Center.
