Rector Liu also introduced the ethical guidelines for AI initiated by The International Research Foundation for English Language Education (TIRF), which provided ethical guidance for educators and learners in the application of AI.

During the roundtable discussion, Rector Jun Liu engaged in a high-level dialogue with Professor Liu Xiaobin from South China University of Technology and expert Ge Bingfang from the Zhejiang Provincial Education Department on the topic of “How AI Reshapes English Teaching.” They conducted an in-depth discussion on the application of AI in various areas, including: Updating Teaching Philosophies, Transforming Teacher Roles, Generating Teaching Content, Optimizing Classroom Management, and Innovating Assessment Methods. The seminar was organized by the organizing committee of the Global English Education Chian Assembly. In addition to keynote speeches and roundtable discussions, the conference featured a dedicated section for basic education across all levels. This included parallel sessions for primary, middle, and high schools, showcasing lesson demonstrations and thematic reports.
