A delegation from Southwest Minzu University (SWUN) led by Vice President Qiao Junjie visited City University of Macau (CityU), where he received a warm welcome from Vice Rector Han Wei. The two sides engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as talent development and faculty-student exchanges, marking an important step toward fostering substantial cooperation between the two institutions.

 

 

Vice Rector Han Wei warmly welcomed Vice President Qiao and his delegation, providing an overview of CityU’s achievements in areas such as historical development, academic disciplines, faculty, international exchanges, and industry-academia collaboration.

 

Vice President Qiao shared the strengths of Southwest Minzu University in its academic programs and highlighted the university’s unique approach to fostering a sense of community for the Chinese nation. He expressed hope for further collaboration between the two institutions in education, humanities and social sciences, and health, aiming to establish a sustainable cooperation platform.

 

Other SWUN’s faculty members from College of Pharmacy and Food, School of Chinese National Community Studies, School of Education and Psychology, and Office of Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan Affairs. Head of the Office of Global Affairs of CityU, Wu Cheng, also attended the meeting.
