The 19th “China Creative Challenges Contest” (also known as 3C Competition), a national digital art and design event, recently concluded successfully. Faculty and students from Faculty of Innovation and Design of City University of Macau (CityU) delivered an outstanding performance, claiming one national second prize and seven national third prizes.
Under the guidance of Associate Professors Ren Yujie, Xing Yalong, and Zhou Long, as well as Assistant Professors Kong Ni and Liu Jing, multiple works from both postgraduate and undergraduate students stood out, demonstrating high quality education in digital art and interdisciplinary design.
The 3C Competition is recognized by the China Association of Higher Education and is China’s first major interdisciplinary authority in digital art, design, creativity, media and technology innovation. This year’s edition, themed “enrich the inner world, create industrial excellence”, aimed to foster originality, stimulate innovative thinking, showcase the latest achievements in digital art and technology, and promote new concepts in digital design, technology innovation, and industry-academia collaboration. This year’s competition attracted 3,950 institutions and received over 420,000 entries, reflecting its extensive impact.
