Applications now open: CityU Exchange Program for Spring Semester 2026｜City University of Macau School of Finance Alumni Association

The Office of Global Affairs (OGA) of City University of Macau held an information session yesterday for the spring semester outbound exchange program in academic year 2025/2026. The session provided detailed information about the program and application guidelines, featuring sharing from students who have participated in previous exchange programs, attracting many students to attend. This exchange program includes nearly 70 institutions from countries and regions such as mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Malaysia, South Korea, Portugal, Brazil, Timor-Leste, Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Russia, Austria, the Czech Republic, Vietnam, and Kazakhstan. Applications are now open, with a deadline of September 24, 2025 (Wednesday). Interested students are encouraged to submit their applications.

During the information session, head of the Global Affairs Office, Wu Cheng, shared insights from his own study abroad experiences, highlighting the significance of learning at different universities, cultural exchange, and cross-cultural communication. He encouraged students to take full advantage of the valuable opportunity for exchange learning both domestically and internationally, to explore academic resources, broaden their horizons and gain new experiences. Professor José Paulo Afonso Esperança from the Faculty of Business also attended the event to address questions from students interested in exchanges in Portugal and Brazil, aiming to provide support and assistance for their overseas studies.

During the meeting, OGA representatives provided detailed information about the application process for the semester exchange program, the latest list of partner institutions, credit transfer regulations, and important notes.Student representatives who have previously participated in the outbound exchange shared their experiences, discussing their academic life, cultural experiences, and personal growth during the exchange period. They offered practical advice on how to adapt to new environments, communicate with local faculty and students, and embrace the challenges of cultural differences, helping others gain a deeper understanding of the exchange program and inspiring their participation.
